Funeral plans have been announced for three family members killed in a Birmingham mass shooting at an adult birthday, including a woman and her grandson. A joint service will be held at Boutwell Auditorium Saturday for Angela Weatherspoon, 56, Markeisha Gettings, 42, and Lerandus Anderson, 24. Weatherspoon was Anderson’s grandmother.

Oak Street Health’s Rickwood Field Center hosts line dancing classes every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The classes are led by Tracy Williams. She said the group of dancers are not ordinary seniors! She said many of them have lost weight, lowered their cholesterol and have seen their A1C numbers come down.
