This is the second straight year he has been selected. Missouri River levels, flooding impacts for eastern Nebraska and western Iowa
OMAHA, Neb. — As of Saturday morning, the Missouri River is expected to crest Saturday afternoon in the Omaha area after runoff frommultiple days of heavy rain upstream. The National Weather Service said moderate to near major flood stages are expected along the Missouri River from Blair to Rulo this week, "rivaling stages that were last experienced in 2019."

Suspect accused of stealing $2,000 bicycle from Coralville apartment building
Coralville Police say a suspect stole a $2,000 bicycle from an apartment building on the Iowa River Landing. 42-year-old Eric Kelley of 1st Avenue is accused of entering the nearby Banks apartments on East 7th Street at approximately 2:00 on the morning of May 16th, taking a bike that did not belong to him, and riding it out of the building. Investigators say the entire incident was captured on security video.
