Rockford police report ‘unfound bomb threat’ at Woodman’s Markets
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - Residents report a large police presence outside of Woodman’s on McFarland Road Saturday afternoon. According to police, an “unfound bomb threat” was called from the market. Customers were evacuated from the store for a short period of time. Woodman’s is now open.
2-vehicle crash leaves motorcycle driver, passenger with serious injuries
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - An early morning crash leaves two people seriously injured on Rockford’s east side. Around 4:30 on July 27, Rockford police were called to the 5800 block of E. State Street for a two-vehicle crash involving a car and a motorcycle. According to police, the motorcycle driver sustained life-threatening injuries and the female passenger sustained serious injuries.
