WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A popular fast-food restaurant is proposed to enter West Carrollton.

According to the city of West Carrollton, Culver’s will appear before the West Carrollton Planning Commission on Aug. 1 for consideration of a new location. Although the city and franchisee are calibrating the final details, the new restaurant could sit as an anchor at the ex-Carrollton Plaza.

We are thrilled at the prospect of welcoming Culver’s to West Carrollton and the River District. This is a significant step forward in our efforts to revitalize the area and create a dynamic space that benefits our entire community. The presence of a reputable brand like Culver’s will undoubtedly attract additional businesses and spur further development, bringing new opportunities and growth to West Carrollton.”

Although the restaurant is known for their ButterBurgers and custard, Culver’s also has chicken, salads, seafood, soups and more.

The two closest Culver’s locations to the proposed site is in Monroe and Vandalia .

The new potential business addition to the city isn’t the first for the general area. In May, 2 NEWS reported a new Dunkin’ location is expected to add a location just down the road at 801 E. Dixie Drive in West Carrollton.
