Brad Glenn talks UC's receivers
Cincinnati's inability to stretch the field on offense last season left many fans wanting. They wanted to see the satisfaction of a deep ball falling perfectly into the hands of a receiver. They wanted to see an offense clicking on all cylinders, seamlessly moving down the field. They didn't get that, for the most part.
Trump's VP Nom Connects Mtn Dew And Racism In Front Of Confused Crowd
Former President Donald Trump’s running mate JD Vance is out campaigning to show he’s not a boring weirdo with zero charisma. It’s not going well. Last week, Donald Trump announced he had selected Ohio senator JD Vance as his vice presidential nominee. Vance is famous for being terrible, but also for writing a best-selling memoir—Hillbilly Elegy—which was turned into a forgettable Netflix movie starring Amy Adams and Glenn Close. Oh, and he also once called Trump a “moral disaster,” and possibly “America’s Hitler.” And apparently, Trump now regrets picking the boring dude after the recent announcement that Joe Biden is stepping out of the 2024 race and Kamala is likely to replace him on the ticket.

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (TND) — JD Vance will make his first solo appearance as the Republican vice presidential nominee on Monday with stops in his hometown in Ohio before heading to Virginia, a day after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race. Vance will hold a rally in Middletown,...

Bengals owner Mike Brown says they will 'try hard' to extend receiver Ja'Marr Chase
The Cincinnati Bengals have a reputation of being cheap, and that's not necessarily fair anymore. The Bengals have signed some expensive free agents. They signed Joe Burrow to a contract that set the NFL record at $55 million per year (it has been tied by Trevor Lawrence's deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars). The old trope that the Bengals won't spend money hasn't been accurate for a while.
Zac Taylor confirms Joe Burrow is 100% heading into training camp
The wait is over. The Cincinnati Bengals report to training camp on Wednesday, but on Monday, we’ve gotten two big pieces of news we’ve been waiting for. First, the news that Amarius Mims has signed his rookie contract broke. And now Zac Taylor has confirmed that star quarterback...

Reynaldo López, Braves look to get back on track against Reds
A very well-rested Reynaldo Lopez will take the mound on Monday night as the Braves welcome the Reds into town for a three-game series... and if we’re lucky, there might be half a major league roster still left behind him to take the field at that point. Yes, the...
Former World Series champion elects free agency
Infielder Edwin Ríos recently elected free agency, per his transactions tracker at MLB.com. He had been designated for assignment by the Reds last week and was sent outright to Triple-A Louisville after clearing waivers, but he instead exercised his right to return to the open market. Ríos, 30, started...
Duke Tobin and Mike Brown discuss Ja’Marr Chase contract extension talks
As the Cincinnati Bengals make their way back to training camp, one question looms large in the wide receiver room. No, not about Tee Higgins, but Ja’Marr Chase. Following Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson signing a record-setting contract, the natural thought was that Chase would be next in line. Since then, we haven’t heard much about Chase and his team’s negotiations with the Bengals.
Bengals Sign First-Round T Amarius Mims, Complete Draft Class Deals
The final member of the 2024 draft class is on the books. Bengals first-rounder Amarius Mims signed his rookie contract on Monday, per a team announcement. This pact is worth $15.37MM full guaranteed over four years. That figure includes a $7.99MM signing bonus. Mims will be under team control through at least 2027, but like all Day 1 picks a fifth-year option could keep him in the fold for another season beyond that.
Cincinnati Reds vs. Atlanta Braves – July 22, 2024
After the worst possible result in our nation’s capital over the weekend, the Cincinnati Reds (47-53) turn to Hunter Greene to try to right the ship against the Atlanta Braves (54-44). Atlanta comes into this series in second place behind Philadelphia in the NL East and solidly in control of the first wild card spot. The Braves are getting it done with pitching, as they have the second-best team ERA in the National League at 3.46 behind only the Phillies. (For context, the Reds’ team ERA is 3.88).
Joe Burrow Cleared For Contact Heading Into Training Camp
According to Ben Baby, Bengals QB Joe Burrow is cleared for contact ahead of training camp, per HC Zac Taylor. Taylor was asked if Burrow would be on a throw count, but would not give any exact details on Burrow or any other players, replying: “We’ve got plans for every veteran we’ve got.”
Duke Tobin on Why the Bengals Won’t Be Adding a Veteran at a Position of Uncertainty
CINCINNATI – With the first practice of training camp two days away, the Cincinnati Bengals still have three roster openings. There are several positions the team could target, and adding a veteran cornerback seemed to be an obvious fit. Bengals Not Interested in Signing a Veteran Cornerback. Or at...
