Duke Tobin: Evan McPherson extension could come together
Bengals owner Mike Brown was emphatic about how hard the Bengals will work to get an extension done with wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, but he’s not the only player who has a new deal on their radar. Kicker Evan McPherson is heading into the final year of his...

Matt’s Take – Reds fall short yet again; Bengals preview
The Cincinnati Reds have unfortunately fallen back far enough to become sellers at the deadline. Their lackluster performance in Washington has officially become what I believe to be the nail in the coffin for this Reds season. I guess Joe Biden wasn’t the only person to drop out of the race in Washington this weekend. Of course, I hope I am wrong, but barring another 10-game win streak, I just don’t see Cincinnati making a run at the playoffs this year. Inconsistencies, injuries, and just poor performances have put this team 6 games below .500, dead last in the National League Central, 10.5 games behind Milwaukee, and 4 games back from a Wild Card spot. There are only two teams with worse records than the Cincinnati Reds in the National League, after a winning season from Cincinnati just a year ago.
Tee Higgins can’t be happy with Bengals after hearing Ja’Marr Chase contract update
Hopefully, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins didn't watch team owner Mike Brown speak at the 2024 media luncheon. On Monday, Brown addressed reporters, answering various queries concerning the state of the franchise. One question kindled a response that Higgins can't be thrilled with, reminding him of his failed contract negotiations with the Bengals this offseason.
Trump's VP Nom Connects Mtn Dew And Racism In Front Of Confused Crowd
Former President Donald Trump’s running mate JD Vance is out campaigning to show he’s not a boring weirdo with zero charisma. It’s not going well. Last week, Donald Trump announced he had selected Ohio senator JD Vance as his vice presidential nominee. Vance is famous for being terrible, but also for writing a best-selling memoir—Hillbilly Elegy—which was turned into a forgettable Netflix movie starring Amy Adams and Glenn Close. Oh, and he also once called Trump a “moral disaster,” and possibly “America’s Hitler.” And apparently, Trump now regrets picking the boring dude after the recent announcement that Joe Biden is stepping out of the 2024 race and Kamala is likely to replace him on the ticket.

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (TND) — JD Vance will make his first solo appearance as the Republican vice presidential nominee on Monday with stops in his hometown in Ohio before heading to Virginia, a day after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race. Vance will hold a rally in Middletown,...

A collaborative effort between city government and the community, Electrify Cincy aims to educate neighbors and contractors as the city works toward the Green Cincinnati Plan's goal.
Bengals owner Mike Brown says they will 'try hard' to extend receiver Ja'Marr Chase
The Cincinnati Bengals have a reputation of being cheap, and that's not necessarily fair anymore. The Bengals have signed some expensive free agents. They signed Joe Burrow to a contract that set the NFL record at $55 million per year (it has been tied by Trevor Lawrence's deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars). The old trope that the Bengals won't spend money hasn't been accurate for a while.
Zac Taylor confirms Joe Burrow is 100% heading into training camp
The wait is over. The Cincinnati Bengals report to training camp on Wednesday, but on Monday, we’ve gotten two big pieces of news we’ve been waiting for. First, the news that Amarius Mims has signed his rookie contract broke. And now Zac Taylor has confirmed that star quarterback...
Vance jokes he’s ‘pissed off’ he won’t get to debate Harris
GOP vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) quipped Monday that he’s frustrated he will no longer get to debate Vice President Harris, as she appears poised to replace President Biden atop the Democratic ticket. “I was told I was going to get to debate Kamala Harris, and now President Trump is going to get…

Bengals owner leading Chase to re-sign WR
Signing wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase to a long-term contract was a top item on the offseason priority list for Bengals owner Mike Brown. On the eve of training camp, a deal for Chase is still marked urgent by the franchise's top decision-maker.
