Stolen Vehicle Leads To Police Chase Along I-80
A police chase on Sunday night ended with arrest of an 18 year old who allegedly stole a vehicle in Warrenville. On Sunday, July 21st at 9:33 p.m. Will County Sheriff Deputies located a stolen blue Hyundai sedan near the area of Midland and Jefferson. The vehicle was stolen in Warrenville earlier that morning by suspects that were armed with handguns.

Sheriff's deputy injured as Cortland man arrested for resisting officer during domestic dispute
A DeKalb County Sheriff's deputy was injured while attempting to place a suspect in custody Saturday night. Deputies were able to take 21-year-old Antonio Pringle of Cortland into custody following a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex in the 1300 block of N Annie Glidden Road in DeKalb at approximately 8:10.

Will County Man Wanted in Grundy Co. For Failing To Appear in Court
A 35-year-old Joliet man is wanted on a warrant after failing to appear for his court appearance in Grundy County. Morris Police Deputy Chief Chad Skelton said they were called to a domestic disturbance on Twilight Drive in April of this year. During an investigation, Skelton said Justin Hill allegedly failed to exit a vehicle and threw a glass of liquid at an officer. No injuries were reported and Hill was transported to the Grundy County Jail.

At least 10 vehicles burglarized in Logan Square, Wicker Park
CHICAGO - At least 10 vehicles were burglarized over the last three weeks in Bucktown, Wicker Park and Logan Square. In each incident, the offenders broke the driver or passenger window of a vehicle to gain entry and then took items in the vehicle, including laptops, cellphones, wallets, purses, bags, musical instruments, clothing, checkbooks, credit cards, cash and other valuables.
Felony charges filed against 2 teens accused of beating, robbing 14-year-old boy at gunpoint
CHICAGO — Felony charges have been filed against two teen boys accused of beating and robbing another teen at gunpoint on the city’s Far North Side over the weekend. According to Chicago police, a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy have each been charged with one felony count of armed robbery and one misdemeanor count of battery. The 16-year-old is facing an additional felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon.
Man arrested after driving drunk, crashing into McAdam Landscaping
On July 18, police were dispatched to McAdam Landscaping after a car ran into the company’s fence while the business was closed. The man who crashed into the fence along Des Plaines Avenue left the car on, a handgun on the driver’s seat and immediately fled from his vehicle, according to the police report. After patrolling the area, police found a man lying in a nearby flower bed and took him into custody for the crash. His breath smelled of alcohol and he had slurred speech, according to police. The man was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, having an expired license, leaving the scene with property damage, and driving under the influence of alcohol.

OAK LAWN, Ill. — An investigation is underway in the south suburbs after several vehicles were vandalized in what police are calling a mass graffiti incident. According to Oak Lawn police, in the early morning hours on Sunday, officers found several vehicles that had been vandalized with spray paint.
