(The Center Square) – Multiple lawsuits have been filed against CenterPoint Energy, including three this week, over power outage failures in southeast Texas after Hurricane Beryl hit on July 8 and it took 12 days to restore power to customers who were able to receive it. Man Found Dead in Houston Identified as Homicide Victim
HOUSTON, Texas — Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 702 Girard Street on Wednesday night. The man has been identified as 56-year-old Damon Spiller, according to the Houston Police Department (HPD). HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Stroble and Detective K. Collier reported that HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the address regarding an unresponsive man found in a residence. The Houston Fire Department pronounced Spiller deceased with no apparent signs to indicate the cause of death at that time.
