Former Little Falls judge sentenced to house arrest for selling drugs
HERKIMER — The former Little Falls town justice who admitted to selling cocaine has been sentenced to house arrest and probation, according to Herkimer County Court. Mitchell Q. Soules Jr., 35, of Little Falls, was sentenced by Judge Daniel R. King on Monday to six months of house arrest and five years probation on one count of third-degree sale of a controlled substance. Authorities said Soules sold the drug cocaine in 2023 and was taken into custody in German Flatts in June 2023.

Utica Fire Department Ambulance Among Busiest in the Nation
UTICA, N.Y. -- On average last year, Utica Fire Ambulance 1 left Station 7 in Oneida Square, 16 times every day. That totals out to 6,071 calls according to a survey done by Firehouse Magazine. Accused of hitting another woman with car, Utica woman charged
UTICA — A Utica woman is accused of intentionally hitting another woman with her car on Floyd Street early Sunday morning, according to the Utica Police Department. Police said Nichole Slattery, 28, drove to another woman's home on Floyd Street at about 6 a.m. and started honking the horn to get her to come out and fight.
