Columbia’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) trailer. “Why wasn’t our incident command center used?” That was the question raised by Council Vice President Eric Kauffman at Tuesday night’s Columbia Borough Council meeting in regard to last week’s tragic fire at Tollbooth Antiques. Kauffman was referring to the borough’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) trailer for managing responses to emergencies in Columbia. Kauffman said the fire went to six alarms. Council President Heather Zink also wondered why the unit wasn’t used and said that a lot of money was spent on the equipment. Nonprofit receives $400K in state funding for Cumberland County housing project
A nonprofit organization has received $400,000 from the state for one of its latest homeownership projects in Cumberland County. Tri County Housing, a certified community development organization, will receive the money for its homeownership project in the 200 block of Eutaw Avenue in New Cumberland from the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency. Trump to hold new campaign rally in Pennsylvania just 200 miles from where shooting took place
Donald Trump is set to return to Pennsylvania for the first time since his assassination attempt at the state’s Butler township earlier this month. The former president, who was wounded in the shooting, will hold a rally in Harrisburg on 31 July, located about 400km (251 miles) from the Butler campaign site.
