Tropicanoe Cove is a Lafayette spot that was recently updated with new attractions such as a drop slide, and now features cabanas that you can rent out along with all the usual attractions like the large banana slide and lazy river.

Located at 1915 Scott St, hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Admission fees are dependent on height, and anyone over 48" is a $10 admission.

    Indiana Beach

Indiana Beach, in Monticello, Indiana, is approaching its centennial in a couple of years. The amusement park and camping grounds had a new twister steel roller coaster installed last year.

The park still has a wide variety of thrill rides, historic wooden roller coasters, and a Coney Island-style boardwalk with an adjunct waterpark with tickets as low as $21.99.
