    VIDEO: Suspect gets stuck in construction area after alleged bank robbery in West Linn

    PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A suspect is in custody after he allegedly robbed a bank in West Linn before getting his car stuck in a construction area on Hall Boulevard, near Hwy. 217.

    West Linn police say the 55-year-old man robbed the Key Bank in West Linn just before 12:30 p.m.

    “The suspect, brandishing a large knife, (leaped) over the counter and took money from each of the teller stations. Police were able to locate him with the assistance of a tracker that was embedded in the money and he was captured in Tigard after a short vehicle pursuit,” authorities aid.

    The suspect is being charged with first-degree robbery, reckless driving and eluding a police officer.
