With an Aug. 27 filing deadline approaching , no candidates have submitted paperwork to challenge Mayor Rory Bialostosky and city councilors Mary Baumgardner and Carol Bryck in the upcoming November election.

The terms up for election in November last four years and are set to expire Dec. 31, 2028.

To be eligible for office in West Linn, candidates must be registered voters who have lived within city limits for a year prior to the election.

West Linn does not require candidates to pay a filing fee or collect signatures.

Bialostosky was elected mayor in May 2023 after serving five months as interim mayor and two years as a city councilor. Bryck was elected in November 2023 to serve the remainder of his council term. Baumgardner was elected city councilor alongside Bialostosky in 2020.
