Harrisburg cancels Kipona Festival fireworks
HARRISBURG, Pa. — There will be no fireworks show this Labor Day weekend for the Kipona Festival. Harrisburg Mayor Wanda Williams announced on Wednesday that the fireworks and drone show scheduled for Kipona would not occur, after public safety incidents at two out of the last three Fourth of July events disrupted plans for fireworks shows along the Susquehanna River.
