LANCASTER — John Benjamin Hershey, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024 on the family farm in Limestone Township, Montour County. Born August 5, 1943, he was the son of the late Clarence (Huber) and Lydia (Kreider) Hershey. On April 2, 1966 he married Ruth K. Zeager, and together celebrated 58 years of marriage.

A former vice president of Tiger Trash in East Manchester Township allegedly stole $60,419 from his company over two years, according to York County Regional Police. Jeremy M. Knaub, 49, of the 700 block of Satellite Drive in York Township has been charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, and forgery — alter writing.
The Restaurant Store to open in Orlando
A Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based wholesaler of foodservice equipment and supplies is set to open its first Florida location in Orlando.<\p> The Restaurant Group, a subsidiary of Clark Associates Inc., will open July 29 at 8205 S. John Young Pkwy., according to a release. The 67,000-square-foot store will open within the Sand Lake Corners South shopping center, about two miles west of The Florida Mall.<\p>
