Gettysburg tennis teams honored for academics by ITA
TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) recently announced its Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Team awards for 2024 and Gettysburg was among the Division III teams recognized. Both the Bullets men’s and women’s team were tabbed as All-Academic Teams. To qualify for the honor, the team must have a collective grade-point average of 3.2 or higher. Gettysburg women were one of 167 Division III programs honored, including six Centennial Conference programs. Pennsylvania State Police SERT member shot in Lancaster County
LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A Pennsylvania State Police Corporal was shot in Lancaster while assisting with a search warrant on Wednesday morning. Pennsylvania State Police say members of the Special Emergency Response Team (SERT) were conducting a search warrant on the 600 block of East Fulton Street in Lancaster City at 6:19 a.m. in relation to an armed robbery investigation.
