LANCASTER — John Benjamin Hershey, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024 on the family farm in Limestone Township, Montour County. Born August 5, 1943, he was the son of the late Clarence (Huber) and Lydia (Kreider) Hershey. On April 2, 1966 he married Ruth K. Zeager, and together celebrated 58 years of marriage.

Thief steals cash from unlocked cars
Selinsgrove, Pa. — Residents in Monroe Township were missing cash after a thief broke into unlocked parked vehicles along South Maple Street. Trp. Derek Gill of state police at Selinsgrove says the unknown suspect broke into the vehicles during the overnight hours of July 18.
