NFL Star Xavier Woods hosts second annual Youth Camp

West Monroe, La. (KTVE/KARD) — NBC 10’s Jeremy Bryant gives a recap of sports news in the NELA including the second annual Xavier Woods Youth Camp held at his alma mater of West Monroe High School.

The camp teaches the kids about the game they love, and he also brought Monroe natives, Jacksonville Jaguar offensive tackle and Carolina Panthers teammate Cam Sims to express how much it means to give back to the youth.

“I can vividly remember when I was younger and coming out when guys were pro when I was younger, they were coming out and having camps like that. it’s really just memories. that’s all I remember about it is just coming out and letting the kids have a good time. let them compete a little bit but more than anything letting them have fun,” said Robinson.
