    W Orange Town Council Amends Ordinance Prohibiting Stopping/Standing In An Area of Pleasant Valley Way

    WEST ORANGE, NJ – During the recent Town Council meeting, members amended an ordinance prohibiting stopping or standing in an area of Pleasant Valley Way.

    Ordinance 2857-24 replaces the phrase below from Chapter 7, Traffic Subsection 7-10.1 with a revised area.

    This phrase was deleted:

    "On Pleasant Valley Way East, beginning 308 feet from the southerly curb line of Greenwood Avenue extended to the northerly curb line of Dawson Avenue at all times."

    And replaced by:

    "On Pleasant Valley Way East, beginning 308 feet from the southerly curb line of Greenwood Avenue extended to the northerly curb line of Wessman Drive at all times."

    Township officials made the change in an effort to alleviate congestion in that area.
