The Okeechobee Steakhouse is Florida’s Oldest Steakhouse, owned by the same family, same location and building since 1947 and known for its classic steakhouse décor and world famous Prime aged steaks.  The sophisticated guests enjoy legendary hospitality and service while dining in this historic steakhouse that echoes a past era. Traditions of the steakhouse are executed flawlessly. This includes everything from dry aging and cutting their own steaks and portioning their own fish filets to making each sauce and dessert from scratch.

The menu, inspired by 74 years of meticulous tradition, is focused around their proprietary in-house dry aging process and painstakingly hand cutting of each steak by three in house master butchers, along with seasonally fresh produce and seafood which never disappoints. As Curtis Lewis, 2 nd generation co- owner of Okeechobee Steakhouse, says, “If you haven’t had a steak here you don’t know what a great steak tastes like”. Okeechobee Steakhouse expanded with the debut of Okeechobee Prime Meat Market in 2018, a butcher shop and meat market featuring beef, veal, lamb, pork, seafood and ready-to-eat sides, select wines, Grab n’ Go prepared meals and homemade desserts; Okeechobee Prime Barbecue in 2019; Lewis Steakhouse located in Jupiter, FL in May, 2022; and Lewis Prime Grill in October, 2023.
