Former President Donald Trump has two events in South Florida on Friday: The Believers' Summit and a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Why it matters: Both events come shortly after Trump formally accepted the GOP presidential nomination at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee and follows President Joe Biden's exit from the race.

    • This will be the first meeting between Trump and Netanyahu since the falling out between them after the 2020 elections.

Driving the news: Trump is set to offer the keynote address on Friday at the West Palm Beach religious summit, organized by the ring-wing group Turning Point Action.

The big picture: Trump's assassination attempt has reinvigorated some of his followers' belief that he was chosen by God.

    • In announcing his presence at the Christian conservative summit, Turning Point noted "a renewed focus on God's providential hand on the future of America," per the Miami Herald .
