Quincy Police Department reports another rash of vehicle burglary calls over weekend
QUINCY — The Quincy Police Department received numerous burglary-to-vehicle calls and several reports of stolen vehicles last weekend. Many of the stolen vehicles were recovered. A press release from the Quincy Police Department said the suspects targeted the south side of town. As in the past, most of the burglaries were to unlocked vehicles. The stolen vehicles were either Kia or Hyundai vehicles or other makes that were unlocked with the keys left inside.

(Des Moines) A Severe Thunderstorm Watch in in effect until 11:00 p.m. for the following counties in southwest Iowa: Adair, Audubon, Carroll, Crawford, Guthrie.
