Pavey, a three-star defensive lineman, sat at a table in the gymnasium of Cincinnati's Taft High School on Tuesday. 4th of July event scheduled in Frankfort
The Frankfort Parks Department has posted the schedule for the Fourth of July Festival at TPA Park. The festivities will begin with a Pound and Zumba class from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by a welcome ceremony at 11 a.m. July 4. Vendors and bounce houses will open to the public at 11 a.m. Three shows of Canines in the Clouds will take place on the newly remodeled bandstand at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m., followed by performances by Midnight Red Eye from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Levi Riggs from 7 to 9 p.m. Fireworks show at 10 p.m. by the Frankfort Jaycees.

Kenneth D. McCarty 76 of rural Delphi, passed away at 5:15pm Saturday June 29,2024 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born July 27,1947 in Logansport to the late Truman E. and Mable Horn McCarty. He was a 1965 graduate of Camden High School. He served with the National Guard from 1965 to 1971. On January 7,1967 at the Camden First Baptist Church he married Nomie Vibbert, she survives. Ken was a factory worker. He was a member of American Legion Post 413 at Camden.
Skinner appointed to Frankfort Board of Public Works
Mayor Judy Sheets announced the appointment of James Skinner as the new member of the Board of Public Works following the resignation of Megan Sheets. Skinner, a retired police officer, will be sworn in during the Board of Public Works meeting July 8.
