Gilmour girls lacrosse: Makenna Crouse to continue her career at Canisius
Makenna Crouse took a chance when she stepped onto the lacrosse field for Gilmour as a senior this past spring. But the New York native needed little time to turn heads. In her first game against West Geauga, she recorded five goals and created 19 ground balls. Crouse finished the season with 90 goals, 25 assists, 143 ground balls, 40 takeaways and 158 draw control wins.
Projecting DaQuan Jones' 2024 stats with Buffalo Bills
One area that the Buffalo Bills have been weaker in the last couple of seasons is the defensive line. The Bills have not been able to produce a defensive line like they once did in 2013-2014 with Mario Williams, Kyle Williams, Marcell Dareus, and Jerry Hughes. It is a unit that has had consistent rotation players up until Ed Oliver came to town, who became a rising star last season. However, part of the reason why Oliver has grown in the last two years is because of DaQuan Jones.
Shelter Announce Northeast Headlining Dates
Shelter announced a four-date run of headlining dates for September on their Instagram. Yes, I can see the gears turning in your head going “I know the name Shelter, but I can’t remember from where.” Well, to remind you, Shelter is the Hare Krishna-based band from Youth of Today vocalist Ray Cappo that he started in the early ‘90s. Once they started banning Hare Krishnas from airports, I guess the religion needed a new way to spread their message, and hardcore punk seemed like the next most viable option.

It is recommended that he go into a home as an only animal as he is still working on some “self-confidence” issues.

Voters ignore Bills' success in puzzling cornerback rankings results
The Buffalo Bills' defense features two highly-productive starters, but neither was apparently productive enough to earn recognition in one outlet's annual position rankings. Taron Johnson emerged as an All-Pro selection after years of consistent performance, and Rasul Douglas seamlessly fit into the Buffalo Bills' defensive backfield following a mid-season trade in 2023.

Ryan McLeod’s one elite attribute will transform the Sabres bottom-six
While Ryan McLeod qualifies more as a depth forward as opposed to a complementary scorer for the Sabres, he possesses one ultra-elite attribute fans must know about. No, it doesn’t involve anything near finding twine over 25 times per season, though I wouldn’t rule out 20 now that he’s out of Connor McDavid’s and Leon Draisaitl’s respective shadows, but that’s for another article.
One Thing Missed from Former Sabres Not Returning from Last Season
A lot has been made about the new additions to the Buffalo Sabres this offseason, and rightfully so. The Sabres must take the next step and find a way into the playoffs, whether through the new coach, newfound speed and physicality, or a jump in development by the team’s young core. While the incoming players bring new hope, there are aspects of the former Sabres not brought back that will be missed.
Legendary basketball coach Tom Izzo praises Bills rookie WR: 'I love him'
Despite Keon Coleman's voluntary departure from Michigan State, legendary basketball coach Tom Izzo still has a strong relationship with the Buffalo Bills rookie. Keon Coleman’s path to the NFL was not necessarily dissimilar to that of the typical contemporary second-round draft pick. A four-star recruit out of Opelousas Catholic School in Louisiana’s Acadiana region, the wide receiver initially committed to Michigan State, appearing in 22 games and catching 65 passes throughout his two-year stint with the Spartans before transferring to Florida State for his junior season. He came down with 11 touchdowns throughout his sole campaign in Tallahassee, prompting the Buffalo Bills to select him with the 33rd overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
