WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The biggest Northeast regional horse show continues its week-long run at the Eastern States Exposition.

It’s the ‘Region Six Super 6’ show series and regional championship show, featuring 125 classes and contests featuring all kinds of horses. President of AQHA Region 6 Super 6, Gene Spagnola told 22News the show attracts nearly 1,500 people each day and has nearly 400 contestants with horse trainers on site.

“It’s a great opportunity for a family to come down here and see, you know, horses ride in show and be able to pet them and talk to the people that show,” said Spagnola.

Each class will have a regional champion crowned on Sunday. It’s free and open to the public.
