Unit 3 Board Approves Tentative Budget and Sets Hearing Date
(Palestine) – The Palestine Unit 3 Board adopted the budget resolution and set a date for a public hearing. Palestine Superintendent and Grade School Principal, Jessica Sisil, says since the budget must be displayed for thirty days, the board will next meet on September 20th at 4:30 p.m. at Palestine High School. A budget hearing is set for 4:20 p.m.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology announced its “Engineering Design Program” has won a national award. The program received the “Innovation Award” from the national ABET accreditation organization. The award brings with it a $10,000 prize. Students Return To Area Colleges
Terre Haute, In. – The campus of Indiana State University was busy over the weekend as the students began to move in and get ready for fall classes. At St. Mary of The Woods faculty and staff lined up on the avenue early Friday morning as the gates opened and student began filing into the traditional cheers of the staff and faculty. The students at both schools find new presidents this school year. Mike Godard became president of Indiana State University this summer and Brennan J. Randolph is the new president at St. Mary of the Woods. Student move in and new student orientation begins at Rose Hulman August 30th with classes beginning September 5.
