    FAIRLEA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Looking for discounted admission and carnival rides at this year’s West Virginia State Fair? Check out these fair week deals being offered.

    The festivities kick off on Thursday, August 8, with an all-day gate admission priced at just $7 for ages 11 and up.

    From 2 PM to 11 PM, visitors can also enjoy a special ride deal for $25.

    On Monday, August 12, the fair will host a “Tools for School Supplies Drive.”

    Guests who bring three different school supplies or hygiene products can take advantage of a special $25 rate for gate admission and carnival rides from 11 AM to 11 PM.

    For those not interested in carnival rides, the same three items will secure an $8 gate admission.

    Senior citizens can enjoy the fair at a reduced rate on Tuesday, August 13, with gate admission set at $7 for individuals aged 55 and older.

    Additionally, an all-day ride special is available for $20 plus a 6% West Virginia sales tax.

    Wednesday, August 14, offers a “Dollar Day Special,” with gate admission costing only $1 before 4 PM for ages 11 and up.

    Military personnel and veterans are honored on Thursday, August 15, with a gate admission of $7 upon presentation of a valid military or veterans ID.

    Throughout the week, from August 13 to August 15, an afternoon special is available, with gate admission priced at $7 from 4 PM until closing for ages 11 and up.
