Get ready to lace up your sneakers and dash into spring with the upcoming Spring Community Track event! On Saturday, May 18th from 1pm to 4pm, the Track & Field Complex at Mylan Park will be buzzing with youthful energy and the spirit of friendly competition.

Mylan Park is calling all young athletes, ages 5-12, to join in a day that promises not just races, but an opportunity to hone their skills in track and field events. Whether your child is taking their first sprint or is a seasoned little runner, this event is the perfect arena for them to shine amidst peers.

But, hold your starting blocks! Make sure to register before the deadline as there will be no day-of sign-ups. Early birds catch the worm with a registration fee of just $10 per runner if you register before May 1st. After that, the fee goes up to $17, with registration closing on May 17th at 11:59 pm, so be swift!

The event features a variety of meter races for different age groups, including 50, 100, 200, and 400 meters, along with field events like the Softball Throw and Broad Jump. Plus, there's an Open Mile and Open Relay for those looking to test their endurance and teamwork.
