Man sentenced for illegal firearm discovered during traffic stop in Abington
Teon Sincere Gregory, 23, of Philadelphia, was sentenced to 4 to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to illegally possessing a handgun, the Pottstown Mercury reported. According to the article, Abington police stopped a car which Gregory was riding in on May 26, 2023, during which officers found and seized his Taurus 9mm firearm.

Monroe County Community on High Alert as Sheriff's Office Investigates Two Assaults on Women
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating two assaults on women reported to have taken place in Monroe Township. As detailed by The Detroit News, the first of these incidents occurred in the early hours on Monday in Waterloo Park, while the second took place on Wednesday night in a wooded area along Frenchcreek in the Meadowbrook Mobile Home Community. WFCN – On July 21, mass retailer Target Corp. will launch three new locations in California, Missouri, and Pennsylvania, expanding its network of over 2,000 stores. Target plans to open a shop in Lomita, California. This will be the company’s 318th outlet in California and its 127th in the Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Anaheim area. The Lomita store, which will employ about 70 people, is about 33,000 square feet and is located at 2130 Pacific Coast Highway. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.
TCNJ to provide room and board to local community college students
EWING — Come the fall semester, the housing situation at The College of New Jersey will be different than ever before. TCNJ and Mercer County Community College have worked out a deal where TCNJ will provide room and board to its students, according to a release from MCCC. The partnership “for the Fall 2024 semester and beyond” will also offer MCCC students special rates for the accommodation.
