NJ Transit Services Resume Following Major Delays Due to Downed Power Lines
RAHWAY, NJ — On Sunday, July 21, NJ Transit service experienced major delays due to downed power lines on the tracks. Services were suspended from Newark to Metro Park. As of 8:35 Monday morning, it appeared that service had been fully restored. The Rahway Police Department made the announcement around 5:10 p.m. on Sunday that services had been suspended. TCNJ to provide room and board to local community college students
EWING — Come the fall semester, the housing situation at The College of New Jersey will be different than ever before. TCNJ and Mercer County Community College have worked out a deal where TCNJ will provide room and board to its students, according to a release from MCCC. The partnership “for the Fall 2024 semester and beyond” will also offer MCCC students special rates for the accommodation.

Another baby has died in NJ this week after being left in hot car
EAST HANOVER — Another infant has died after being left in a car in New Jersey. Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll said East Hanover Police were called after a 6- month-old girl was noticed inside a vehicle parked in a parking lot on South Ridgedale Avenue at Route 10 in East Hanover around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 17. She was pronounced dead at a hospital.
