Westby/Coon Valley advances to Legion state tournament after two wins over Bangor Post 40

Bangor Post 40 and Westby/Coon Valley faced off for the championship round of the Wisconsin Legion Baseball A Regional.

Westby would need to win twice to advance to state while Bangor would just need to win once.

In game 1, Westby got off to an early lead scoring 3 runs in the first inning. Bo Milutinovich and Ben Roethel would both record RBIs in the inning.

Connor Butzler was on the mound for Westby, and he was lights out pitching a complete game shutout as Westby/Coon Valley took game won 4-0.

In the winner take all game 2, Westby would go on to win 7-2 and advanced to the state tournament.
