Jose Luis Tejada Aybar, the mastermind behind the Cab Louie Delivery Service, was sentenced to 150 months in prison for his role in distributing fentanyl -tainted cocaine. Furthermore, Clarke's husband also suffering hospitalization due to a fentanyl overdose. Despite being aware of the tragic consequences of his operation through a news article he saved on his phone, Tejada continued to run the Cab Louie Delivery Service.

Undercover operations conducted by the New York Police Department revealed continued drug trafficking activities. Tejada even personally conducted deliveries after the three deaths came to light. This sting operation eventually led to the arrest of Tejada and his accomplices.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Alexander Li led the prosecution and U.S. District Judge Andrew L. Carter, Jr. delivered the sentence to the 41-year-old from Miami, Florida, Jose Luis Tejada Aybar.
