    Northwest Missouri State with 12 National Qualifying Track and Field Events

    (Maryville, MO) Northwest will send in a total of 19 athletes to Emporia, Kan. to compete at this year’s 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships from May 23 to 25.

    The Bearcats will have five women athletes competing and 11 men athletes. The men will also bring three alternate competitors.

    Bearcat Women’s National Qualifiers:

    Tiffany Hughey (Lee’s Summit, Mo.)

    : 400-meter dash and 4×400-meter relay.

    Lydia McGlocklin (Olathe, Kan.): 800-meter run.

    Chloe Saenz (Kansas City, Mo.): 400-meter dash and 4×400-meter relay.

    Luisarys Toledo (Valencia, Venezuela): 400-meter hurdles, 4×400-meter relay, long jump and javelin.

    4×400 Meter Relay: Saenz, Toledo, Kaylee Harp (Harrisonville, Mo.), and Hughey.

    Bearcat Men’s National Qualifiers:

    Prince Griffin (Independence, Mo.):

    400-meter dash and 4×400-meter relay.

    Blake Morgan (Kirksville, Mo.): High jump.

    Reece Smith (Garner, Iowa): 3000-meter steeplechase.

    Maxime Touron (St. Adams de Pellagal, France): 800-meter run.

    Riley Witt (Osage, Iowa): 800-meter run.

    4×100 Meter Relay: Dominic Sedlacek (Gretna, Neb.), Joel Dos Santos (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Gavyn Monday (Independence, Mo.), and Enrico Cavagna (Trento, Italy).

    4×400 Meter Relay: Griffin, Monday, Logan Arellano (Kearney, Mo.), and Truman Hare (Liberty, Mo.)

    Additional Competitors

    Danny Jantzen (Blue Springs, Mo.) – 4x400M
