    Three Area Airports Approved for Funding in the 2025 State Aviation Program

    (Des Moines) The Iowa Transportation Commission approved funding for three southwest Iowa airports as part of the fiscal year 2025 State Aviation Program.

    Carroll Arthur N Neu Airport was awarded $13,491 for taxiway repair. The total project cost is $17,988.

    Creston Municipal Airport was allotted $55,250 for obstruction mitigation. The total project cost is $65,000.

    Denison Municipal Airport was allocated $33,500 to remove underground storage tanks. The total project cost is $67,000.

    The State Aviation Program supplements local and federal funding sources and seeks to maintain a safe and effective statewide air transportation system.
