Single-Vehicle Crash Claims One Life in Winnebago County

(Scarville, Iowa) A Minnesota man died in a single-vehicle accident in Winnebago County.

The Iowa State Patrol says it happened at 10:41 a.m. on 485th Street and 200th Avenue in Scarville, Iowa. Authorities identified the victim as 63-year-old Mark Claassen of Albert Lea, Minnesota.

According to the Report, Claassen was driving southbound on 200th Avenue in a 2007 Chevy Silverado pickup and failed to make the curve. The pickup left the road and rolled multiple times. Claassen was ejected from the pickup and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
