While Iowa’s prospects are strong, Minnesota’s corn yield is forecasted at almost 165 bushels per acre, the lowest since 2012, due to excessive June rains impacting fertilizer. The tour covers key Corn Belt states and noted generally favorable conditions for most crops, although an early frost remains a potential risk. In contrast, Minnesota’s soybeans showed resilience, with pod counts above last year’s average.
