(Audubon) The #5 Audubon Wheelers head into week five with an impressive 4-0 record. The Wheelers’ Offense has piled up 1,518 yards of total offense, averaging just shy of 50 points per game. It’s not like the Wheelers have had to race to outscore their first four opponents because the defense has limited the opposition to an average of 16 points per outing.

Audubon Head Coach Sean Birks says it comes down to everyone doing their one-eighth.

The Wheelers excel in takeaways with one fumble recovery and nine interceptions.

Austin Christensen leads in picks with three, Aaron Olsen and Adam Obrecht two, and Mason Kasperbaurer and Colin Hartl one each.

Coon Rapids-Bayard comes to town on Friday night carrying a 1-3 win-loss record.

The Crusaders have gained 1,027 yards on the ground through four games, led by running back Caden Oswald with 68 carries for 516 yards, Ethan Bauer with 42 carries for 284 yards, and Wyatt Oswald with 42 carries for 153.

Carson Wessel and Aaron Olsen are two-headed monsters in the offensive backfield for the Wheelers, with 468 and 391 yards, respectively. Wessel is 20-32 passing for 471 yards, seven touchdowns, and two interceptions. Aaron Olsen, Austin Christiansen, and Brody Weber lead the receiving corp. with 187, 172, and 112 yards, respectively. Additionally, Austin Christiansen leads the team in tackles with 37.
