Harlan City Council Approves Resolution for Apron Expansion Project

(Harlan) The Harlan City Council on Tuesday approved a resolution to submit a project for Apron Expansion and authorized the City Administrator to sign the required documents.

The proposed project will increase the apron size at the Airport by approximately 3,800 square yards to meet FAA requirements.

The total cost of the project is estimated to be $612,928, with an estimated Federal share under AIP of $236,005, an estimated additional Federal share under BIL-AIG of $331,930, and an estimated local share of $44,993.

The Council also approved the FY2024 Annual Urban Renewal Report and a resolution naming Depositories.
