Save the Sound in Larchmont, New York, is back for its ninth year of Paddle for the Sound. Riko’s Pizza plans Norwalk, Westport expansions
Riko’s Pizza, the Stamford-based chain with franchises nation-wide that serve their signature thin crust pies, has announced plans for new locations closer to home. A new Riko’s is planned for Westport, at 60 Charles Street, while a take-out only location in Norwalk will relocate to 85 New Canaan Avenue. The new location will enable serving both Norwalk and New Canaan, while also expanding the space and gaining a full bar.
American Heart Association gives Bridgeport Hospital Silver Plus rating
Bridgeport Hospital was recognized on July 9 for achieving a high standard of care in handling strokes. Under the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Get With The Guidelines program, participating hospitals are ranked according to how well they conform to the AHA’s guidelines to ensuring that stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment, which should both save lives and reduce instances of disability in patients.
Summit Health expands Greenwich Lease
On July 11 Simone Development Companies and Fareri Associates announced that Summit Health has signed a new long term lease. In addition to renewing the existing 14,243 square feet of medical office space comprising the ground floor of 644 West Putnam Avenue in Greenwich, an additional 5,610 square feet will be leased on the second floor.

A former real estate magnate from Monsey has been ordered to pay the IRS nearly $1.3 million for cheating on his taxes. U.S. District Judge Nelson S.
