Walsh University Receives $9,000 Grant for Restorative Connections Project
The Center for Restorative Justice and Community Health at Walsh University, in partnership with the Simply Youth program in Stark County, has been awarded a $9,000 grant from the Stark County Social Justice Consortium/Stark County Community Action Agency. This funding is supporting the Impact Institute-Restorative Connections Project, directed by Dr. Michelle Bemiller, Professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice and Director of the Center for Restorative Justice and Community Health at Walsh University. This program will run through the month of July, impacting youth ages 13 to 15 who are residents of the City of Canton.
2024 Spring Dean’s List Announced
Walsh University congratulates the 550 students who qualified for the Spring 2024 Dean’s List. Students enrolled for at least 12 credits who achieve a grade average of 3.5 or higher in any semester are included on the Dean’s List. Part-time students are considered for the Dean’s List in the semester their class status changes. Among the students who qualified for the Dean’s List are 49 international students and 59 out-of-state students. We recognize and applaud the hard work and dedication this academic achievement represents.
