If you lose something while riding a roller coaster, wait until the park shuts the ride down and have an employee retrieve what you lost because it's a whole lot safer. While most states don't have an amusement park, Ohio has two solid parks to visit if you are a thrill seeker. My son and I recently visited Cedar Point and we had a blast. There was one ride where we didn't feel the safety bar was where it should be so we will avoid that ride in the future. It's our favorite place to go.

Drought in central Ohio? Recent heat wave made for a dry start to the summer
Last week's heat wave did more than just bake central Ohio, it also ushered in a drought, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. A huge swath of Ohio was experiencing abnormally dry conditions, while significant areas including Columbus were under a moderate drought as of Tuesday morning, when NOAA released its weekly drought map.
