    Westfield to host annual “Fireworks for Freedom” celebration

    WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The City of Westfield will be holding its annual traditional celebration of the 4th of July holiday on Saturday.

    According to the City of Westfield, “Fireworks for Freedom” is an annual event that will feature musical entertainment from Korey & The Knightsmen Band, food vendors, and a fireworks show from Pyrotecnico of Jaffrey, New Hampshire.

    “Fireworks for Freedom” is set to take place at the Westfield South Middle School Field on West Silver Street. The lawn will open at 5:00 p.m.

    This celebration is being presented by Westfield Gas & Electric/Whip City Fiber, Advance Manufacturing & the Amanti Family. Silver Sponsors include BankESB and Westfield Electroplating
