WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The City of Westfield held its annual “Fireworks for Freedom” celebration Saturday evening at the Westfield South Middle School Field.

Westfield to host annual “Fireworks for Freedom” celebration

This event has been a traditional celebration of the 4th of July holiday with musical entertainment from Korey & The Knightsmen Band, food vendors, and a fireworks show from Pyrotecnico of Jaffrey, New Hampshire. Even out in the rain, plenty of Westfield’s own showed up for the show.

“I think it shows the dedication of the citizens of Westfield, I think everybody gets excited about the things that we hold in our city,” expressed Korey Bruno, a Singer and Keyboard player.

The celebration was presented by Westfield Gas & Electric/Whip City Fiber, Advance Manufacturing, and the Amanti Family.
