The final flight will take place Monday morning into Bradley International Airport.

This model aircraft was introduced in 1976 and has two Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-220 engines. They participated in Operation Desert Storm in 1991 and maintain an undefeated combat record of 104-0, underscoring its formidable capabilities in aerial combat.

“The arrival of the F-15C Eagle is not just an addition to our collection—it’s a testament to the ingenuity and strength of U.S. aviation technology and a tribute to the brave individuals who have flown these skies” said President and CEO Stephanie Abrams. “We are excited to offer our visitors a close-up look at this remarkable piece of military history.”

The 104th Fighter Wing at Barnes ANGB has 21 assigned F-15C Eagle Aircraft that provide 24/7 aerospace security across the northeastern United States. An environmental evaluation is being conducted on the impact of replacing the aging F-15C and D-model aircraft with either the F-15EX or F-35A aircraft.
