WESTFIELD, Pa. ( WETM ) —Age is nothing but a number in the world of sports.

91-year-old Bob Tracy has been golfing since he was 75. He is the oldest golfer at the River Valley Country club in Westfield, Pa.

“I don’t think too much about it. I just go out and golf. I know I’m not hitting all that I did. I’m getting very old, but I can hit pretty good,” said Bob Tracy.

Tracy says he worked at the country club after he retired when he started to play golf. He normally hits a lot of bogeys when he plays, but in front of the youngest golf members, Tracy got a hole in one.

“You don’t get a hole in one every day. You get a hole in one as they come,” Tracy added.

Tracy will be 92 in October. His hearing isn’t as great as it used to be, but he will continue to play golf until he is no longer physically able to. The number 16 will continue to be a special number for him, since that’s the hole number where he got his hole in one.

“For fun I go out quite often and just golf for fun,” said Tracy.
