WASHINGTON, La. (KADN) — An industrial coatings manufacturer is set to build a $13 million facility on a plot of land off I-49 in the Town of Washington. New Southland Industrial Coatings hopes to have construction completed by the spring of next year.

Commission requests money to repair Heymann Performing Arts Center

Shreveport, LA – A devastating 53-mile long track tornado touched down in northern Red River and Bossier Parish, Louisiana, on Monday, July 8. The National Weather Service in Shreveport confirmed the tornado, rating it an EF-2 with estimated peak winds of 115 mph.
