New Chipotle Mexican Grill Looks to Be Planned for the Shoppes of Westlake Landings

Located near the intersection of Seminole Pratte Whitney Road and Persimmon Boulevard , the Shoppes of Westlake Landings is an up-and-coming retail center still under development in Westlake .

A description on the Konover South website speaks of “high visibility on the city’s main road, accessing the commercial district, high school and public park,” offering the “opportunity to be first-in-market, serving a community of over 4,500 new homes…”

Several fast and fast-casual concepts have already taken advantage of that opportunity, including KFC and Starbucks , and it appears that burrito megachain and household-name brand Chipotle Mexican Grill is planning a new outpost there. Plan review paperwork submitted by the company shows a new Chipotle opening at 4950 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road #1000 .

This means Westlake residents may soon be able to stop in for some of Chipotle’s signature burritos, burrito bowls, quesadillas, and more. The brand takes the industry-standard build-your-own approach to its offerings, allowing guests to choose from proteins like Chicken, Steak, Beef Barbacoa, Carnitas, and more, adding rice, beans, and toppers like salsa, sour cream, lettuce, cheese, queso blanco, and more.
