The class is headlined by five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore and consists of 16 total verbal pledges. Of those 16 prospects, 13 rank within the Top 247 rankings. Simply put, this class is talented at the top and also very deep.

The clearing of homeless camps from Portland’s streets is often and crudely described as a game of Whac-A-Mole. But another frivolous analogy comes to mind after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled cities could enforce strict camping bans: Homelessness policy on the West Coast has been written with an Etch A Sketch, which the courts shake every few years, sending cities and states back to the drawing board. Oregon, which structured its camping laws around previous court rulings, now must decide whether to draw them again (“Breaking Camp,” WW, July 10). Missing Central Oregon Youth Found in Southern Idaho
SPRAY — On July 13 the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a report of two missing juveniles from Spray, Oregon, at about 7:20 pm. It was reported the youth were on a camping trip in a forested area inside Morrow County. At the end of the camping trip, they told their parents over the phone that they would be returning home to Spray from Heppner.

Red Cross opens shelter for those displaced by Durkee Fire
EAST OREGON (CBS2) — The Red Cross of Idaho, East Oregon and its partners opened an evacuation shelter in Ontario for those displaced by the Durkee wildfire. The shelter is located at the Malheur County Fairgrounds, 795 NW 9th St, and provides a safe place for people to stay, meals, information, emotional support and access to other community resources. There is also room for livestock and RVs.

The Miners Complex Fire, which consists of nine wildfires caused by lightning in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest area, has grown to 500 acres.
