City Council Report: New south side distribution center approved against community opposition
At Tuesday’s City Council, Springfield alderpeople voted to approve zoning variances on a proposed warehouse project in the south of Ward 1. Located on Palm Road at the foot of the Chatham/I-55 interchange, the new warehouse is anticipated to bring in “hundreds” of jobs to the Springfield area.
