SUNY CCC to host Regional Job fair this April, register now

CORNING, N.Y. ( WETM ) – SUNY Corning Community College will be hosting a Regional Job Fair at the end of the month that will feature more than 60 employers to meet with job seekers in the area.

The job fair will take place on Wednesday, April 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the gymnasium at CCC. The event is sponsored by Chemung-Schuyler-Steuben Workforce NY, the NYS Department of Labor and GST BOCES.

Those who attend the job fair will have the opportunity to meet with recruiters and ask questions, network and share their resumes.

Representatives from Arnot Health, Chemung Canal Trust Company, Kennedy Valve, The Hilliard Corporation and the New York State Department of Transportation will be at the event, amongst others, to meet with job seekers who are interested in local career opportunities.

There will also be employers from Chemung, Schuyler and Steuben counties that have current job opportunities available, ranging from sales, technology and manufacturing, information technology, management, nursing, general labor and more.

Those who are interested in attending are encouraged to pre-register online before the event. Those who pre-register and attend will be eligible to win a $125 Tommy Hilfiger gift card.

Employers who would like to participate in the event are asked to pre-register online as well.
